Advocating better health care

Health care in the U.S. leaves too many people out, costs too much and often does not meet acceptable standards of quality. Much of the care that we get is duplicative, ineffectual or harmful. Public Citizen has long been a strong advocate of improvements in quality of care.

We conduct groundbreaking studies, publish articles and call on legislators and policymakers to ensure a high quality of care in the medical field.
