Angela Bradbery

Director of Communications

Angela Bradbery is Public Citizen’s Director of Communications. After graduating from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, she began her career as a newspaper reporter, working for 10 years cumulatively at The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach (Fla.), the Sun-Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale and the Chicago Tribune. She covered a wide variety of issues, with a focus on local, regional and state government. In 1997, she moved to Washington, D.C., to work for Thompson Publishing Group, where she wrote and edited newsletters for employers. She joined Public Citizen in 1999 as a press officer, became deputy director of communications in 2000 and was named director of communications in 2006.
